Embry-Riddle earned a 10-0 win on Thursday evening over Life Pacific as the Eagles celebrated the teams 13 seniors on Varsity Field in Prescott, Arizona.
The Eagles took control of the game early, ending the first half with a solid 3-0 lead.
Rae Yoshioka (Pearl City, Hawaii), who also scored the game-winning goal, opened the scoring at 14:04. The momentum continued into the second half with standout performances from
Jamie Black (Tucson, Ariz.) and
Scarlett Frohardt (Queen Creek, Ariz.), who both scored multiple goals to propel the team to a ten-goal victory.
Rainah Draper (Pearl City, Hawaii) scored her first career goal in the 17th minute. Also scoring their first goals as Eagles was
Sachie Ilae (Kaneohe, Hawaii) and
Tessa Updegraff (Albuquerque, N.M.).
Jackie Peterson (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and
Kaitlyn Roskopf (Chino Valley, Ariz.) scored the other two ERAU goals.
Embry-Riddle will head to Hope International on Saturday with a 7pm kickoff scheduled.
