Slow Start to Second Half Leads to ERAU Loss

In a challenging face-off on Friday evening, the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles fell to the Rocky Mountain (MT) Battlin' Bears with a final score of 59-73 at the Fortin Education Center. The game marked another setback for the Eagles, pushing their season record to 0-2. Despite their efforts and a halftime score of 27-30 in favor of the Bears, the Eagles were unable to overcome the gap in the second half.

Noah Gifft (Surprise, Ariz.) led the scoring for the Eagles with 16 points, including four rebounds and two steals. Jake Klingler (Gilbert, Ariz.) complemented this effort with 12 points. Also noting notable contributions was Jacey Canalin (Portland, Ore.) with 10 points and Christian Wells (Frisco, Texas) who, while scoring 5 points, managed to capture 4 rebounds and replicate Gifft's two steals.

Embry-Riddle will finish up their Montana trip tomorrow with another game in the Fortin Education Center against Montana State University-Northern with tip-off scheduled for 2pm.
