Embry-Riddle made a 4th quarter comeback but it was not quite enough as the Eagles fell to Carroll College 57-62 in Helena, Montana on Wednesday afternoon.
The game was close throughout as Carroll led at halftime by five points. The Fighting Saints extended their lead to 11 points in the third quarter, however ERAU outscored Carroll 16-12 in the fourth quarter as the Eagles chipped away. Unfortunately, ERAU couldn't close the gap any further.
Zakiirah King (Chandler, Ariz.) led Embry-Riddle with 15 points and she grabbed five rebounds.
Hannah Urbano (Kailua, Hawaii) chipped in 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists for the Eagles.
Embry-Riddle will stay in Montana and play Montana State University-Northern on Friday with tip off scheduled for 5:00pm.
