Embry-Riddle finished in 2nd place behind The Master's University at the Great Southwest Athletic Conference Championships held in Santa Clarita, California on Friday morning.
Zoe Tizard (Gilbert, Ariz.) led the way for ERAU with a 5th place finish in a time of 22:36.5. The next Eagle to cross the finish line was
Mia Kemp (Newtown, Victoria, Australia). Kemp finished the 6K course in 23:03.6 which put her in 9th.
Kylie Monson (Rancho Cordova, Calif.) finished 14th overall with a time of 23:44.2 for the Eagles.
Tiffany Terry (Calimesa, Calif.) finished her race in 24:05.9 which put her in 16th place. Next for the Eagles was
Sophia Noriega (Chandler, Ariz.) who ran the course in 24:29.9.
Finnoula Carew (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) was the 6th Eagle to cross the finish line with a time of 25:19.00. Rounding out the ERAU runners was
Elyse Grant (Newbury Park, Calif.) Grant finished the race with a time of 27:11.2.
Embry-Riddle had three runners named to the GSAC All-Conference Team. They were Tizard, Kemp, and Monson.
ERAU will wait to see if they get an At-Large bid to the NAIA National Championship race which will be held in Columbia, Missouri on Friday, November 22nd.
