Embry-Riddle celebrated senior night and secured a three-set victory against Hope International on Friday evening in the Eagle Gym. The Eagles dominated the floor with final set scores of 25-14, 25-23, and 25-18.
From the outset, the Eagles set an aggressive pace.
Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) led with a remarkable 10 kills, closely followed by
Dalia Haase (Tucson, Ariz.) with 9 kills and 6 blocks, anchoring both the offense and the defense.
Alexsandra Rodriguez (Phoenix, Ariz.) contributed significantly with 5 kills. The defensive plays were equally strong, with
Lily Figgins (St. Charles, Mo.) making 17 significant digs and
Katie Rolle adding 5 digs to her accolade for the night.
Katie Rolle (Missoula, Mont.) displayed a well-rounded performance, not only contributing on the defensive end but also on service and setup, totaling 24 assists and landing 4 crucial aces. Figgins and
Alexis Creager (Berthoud, Colo.) each added to the team's total with multiple service aces, reinforcing their important roles in this decisive win.
Embry-Riddle has earned a spot in the GSAC playoffs and will find out where they are going/who they are playing Saturday.
