Zakiirah King (Chandler, Ariz.) scored her 1000th career point on a layup in the 4th quarter to become the fourth player in Embry-Riddle Women's basketball history to eclipse the 1000th point mark and ERAU beat Stanton University 90-49 in the Activity Center on Thursday evening. Â
First Quarter:Â Embry-Riddle set the tone early, outscoring Stanton 32-9. King led the charge with 9 points, including a three-pointer. The Eagles' defense was relentless, forcing multiple turnovers and limiting Stanton's scoring opportunities.
