Embry-Riddle Men's track raced well at the Pomona Pitzer invite on Saturday afternoon in Pomona, Calif.
ERAU had four runners compete in the 1500m race with Demetris Love, Jr. (Phoenix, Ariz.) leading the way. Love, Jr. finished with a time of 3:59.04. The next Eagle finisher was just behind as Jacob Ortiz (Chandler, Ariz.) finished in 4:01.02. Ben Smith (Spokane, Wash.) came in with a time of 4:05.71 and Dillon Eisner (Paulden, Ariz.) was the last Embry-Riddle finisher as he finished with a 4:07.55.
In the 5000m race, Nick Logan (Phoenix, Ariz.) finished in 9th place as he ran a 15:31.04. Austin Lemus (Chino, Calif) and Kyler Castro (Medical Lake, Wash.) also ran the 5000m race for ERAU. Lemus finished with a time of 16:37.25 and Castro a 16:44.70.
Embry-Riddle will have a quick turnaround as the Eagles will compete next weekend at either the Bryan Clay Invite or the University of La Verne invite on Friday, April 12th.
