Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Eagles Fall in Final Two Games of Park Classic

Embry-Riddle battled with Missouri Baptist who is receiving votes in the NAIA and the host school #14 Park on the final day of the Park Classic on Saturday.  The Spartans beat the Eagles 3-2 and the Pirates won the match 3-0 over ERAU.  

Game 1:
ERAU jumped out to a 25-21 first set win.  The Eagles dropped the second set 25-21 but then regained their momentum as they won the third set 25-15.  The Spartans took the fourth set 25-12 and finished the match with a 15-9 win over Embry-Riddle.  

Emma Barber (Goodyear, Ariz.) led ERAU in their first match of the day with 17 kills as she hit .300.  Katie Rolle (Missoula, Montana) finished with 36 assists and Lily Figgins (St. Charles, Mo.) had five service aces.  

Game 2: 
Embry-Riddle could not seem to get their offense going in the three set match against the Park Pirates.  ERAU lost the first set 25-15, the second 25-19, and the third 25-22.  

Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) led with 10 kills and a .250 hitting percentage. Figgins finished with 15 digs to led the defense for ERAU and Rolle added another 26 assists.  

Embry-Riddle will begin GSAC play next week with their first match in the new conference being at OUAZ on on September 13th.
