In a challenging GSAC basketball encounter on Wednesday evening, Embry-Riddle suffered a tough defeat, falling 47-67 to the OUAZ Spirit at Faith Arena.
The Eagles entered the halftime trailing with a score of 28 to the Spirit's 35 and struggled to close the gap in the subsequent half. Key player
Zakiirah King led the scoring for Embry-Riddle with 14 points, alongside
Mehgan Strickler and
Ella Schott, who contributed with 11 and 9 points respectively. Strickler also impressive on the boards with 7 rebounds, adding to the Eagle's defensive efforts.
Hannah Urbano also showcased a notable defensive performance, managing to secure 4 steals and providing 5 assists, demonstrating her all-round capabilities.Â
