Embry-Riddle delivered a commanding second-half performance to secure a 3-0 victory over Life Pacific on Saturday evening at home. With the win, the Eagles improve to 5-3-3 overall and 4-1-2 in conference play.
After a scoreless first half despite 11 shots from the Eagles, the breakthrough came in the 51st minute when forward Cesar Battistini found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Jeysson Cruz. Battistini wasn't done—just eight minutes later, he doubled the lead with a clinical finish assisted by Rojvan Karaer, putting Embry-Riddle firmly in control.
The Eagles capped off the scoring in the 84th minute when Emanuele Bossi slotted home a third goal, assisted by Battistini, who finished the day with two goals and one assist.
Embry-Riddle dominated the stat sheet, outshooting Life Pacific 21-1 and holding a 7-0 edge in shots on goal. Goalkeeper Stav Shaham earned a clean sheet without needing to make a save, thanks to a disciplined defensive effort that kept the Warriors from generating any real threats.
ERAU will host OUAZ on Thursday evening at Varisty Field with the game kicking off at 7:30pm.
