ERAU Wins 9th Conference Game

Kaitlyn Roskopf and Jamie Brandon each scored two goals as Embry-Riddle moved to 9-0 in GSAC play with a 5-0 win over Arizona Christian at Varsity Field on Saturday evening.  

Roskopf and Brandon Lead the Charge

Roskopf opened the scoring in the 19th minute and added a second goal early in the second half, bringing her season tally to double digits. Brandon was unstoppable, scoring twice and assisting on two more, including Roskopf's second goal and a late strike by Kari Kasun in the 65th minute.

Brandon's performance marked her most productive outing of the season, finishing with 11 shots, 4 on goal, and involvement in four of the five goals.

Total Team Effort

Embry-Riddle outshot Arizona Christian 34–1, with 18 shots on goal and 10 corner kicks. The Eagles' midfield controlled possession throughout, with Samantha Wright contributing five shots and four corner kicks, while Tessa Updegraff and Molly Newlin each added assists.

Defensively, the Eagles were airtight. Goalkeepers Aubrianne Dupre and Maile Kahele combined for the shutout, with Dupre playing 75 minutes and Kahele closing out the final 15. Arizona Christian managed just one shot, which was blocked before reaching goal.

Embry-Riddle will head to Benedictine Mesa on Thursday for a 5:30pm kickoff at ASU Polytechnic campus.
