Embry-Riddle continued its dominant run with a commanding 5–0 road victory over Benedictine Mesa on Thursday evening at ASU Polytech Stadium.
Jamie Brandon led the charge with a hat trick, scoring in the 26th, 87th, and 89th minutes to push her season tally to double digits. Brandon also added an assist, while Samantha Wright contributed a goal and four assists in a standout performance that showcased the Eagles' attacking depth and precision.
Embry-Riddle outshot the Redhawks 37–3, including 21 shots on goal. The Eagles controlled possession from the opening whistle, registering 19 shots in the first half and earning nine corner kicks over the match.
The scoring opened in the 26th minute when Brandon finished a well-worked sequence assisted by Wright and Tessa Updegraff. After halftime, the Eagles poured on the pressure, with Sachie Ilae doubling the lead in the 61st minute off a combination from Brandon and Wright.
Wright added her own goal in the 81st minute before Brandon closed the match with two late strikes, both assisted by Wright, capping a dominant second half in which Embry-Riddle scored four times.
Defensively, goalkeeper Aubrianne Dupre recorded her eighth shutout of the season, making two saves behind a back line that allowed just three total shots.
ERAU will return to Prescott to play against Park Gilbert on Saturday at 5pm.
