Emma Barber all had double digit kills as Embry-Riddle won their second game in a row. The Eagles took down Park-Gilbert in Mesa on Friday evening 3-0.
The Eagles came out firing in the first set, hitting an impressive .375 as a team and never trailing after the opening points. They maintained their momentum through the second set with a .355 hitting percentage, and closed out the match in a tighter third set, holding off a late surge from the Buccaneers.
Offensive Firepower Leads the Way
Embry-Riddle's attack was led by  Chew and  Eglinton, who each tallied 15 kills. Chew hit a blistering .448 while Eglinton followed closely with a .444 mark, combining for over half of the team's 52 total kills. Barber added 13 kills and 12 digs, contributing on both ends of the court.
Setter Alice Tuci orchestrated the offense with 43 assists and chipped in 11 digs and 3 service aces, showcasing her all-around impact.
Defensive Stability and Net Presence
The Eagles were solid defensively, recording 45 digs and 8 block assists. Hannah Clear and Haeden Baker each contributed at the net, while Ronni Lyons and Hie Loui provided back-row support.
ERAU will head to Southern California next weekend for matches against Life Pacific and Hope International.
