Eagles Soar Past Soka with Dominant 4–0 Road Victory

Embry-Riddle continued its unbeaten streak with a commanding 4–0 win over Soka University of America on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles, now 7-0-2 on the season and 4-0-0 in conference play, showcased their offensive depth and defensive discipline in a match that saw contributions from across the roster.

Embry-Riddle opened the scoring in the 25th minute when Tessa Updegraff found the back of the net off a well-placed assist from Molly Newlin, giving the Eagles a 1–0 lead heading into halftime.

The second half was all Embry-Riddle. Jamie Brandon doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with an unassisted strike, then added her second goal just two minutes later, finishing off a corner kick sequence assisted by Samantha Wright

The Eagles capped off the scoring in the 76th minute when Leah Barone converted a pass from Kaitlyn Roskopf, sealing the 4-0 victory.

Defensively, goalkeeper Aubrianne Dupre recorded a clean sheet with one save, supported by a backline that limited Soka to just three shots and one on target. Embry-Riddle outshot the Lions 14-3 and held a 8-1 edge in shots on goal.

Embry-Riddle will head to Santa Clarita to take on The Master's University at 1:30pm on Saturday.
