Embry-Riddle finished 17th at the NAIA National Championships in Tallahassee, Florida at Apalachee Regional Park on Friday morning as Ben Smith led ERAU with a 22nd place finish.  

Smith ran the 8k course in 25:01 as he became an NAIA All-American with his top 40 finish.  Cam Sheperd was next for ERAU finishing in 26:06 which put him in 121st.  Nathan Nations and Dillon Eisner finished just a second apart at 26:08 for Nations and 26:09 for Eisner.  Nicolas Urquidez finished with a time of 26:15 to finish out the scoring for the Eagles.  Joseph Fox came across the line with a time of 26:26 and Jacob Ortiz rounded out Embry-Riddle with a time of 27:17.  

ERAU's season will come to a close after the NAIA Marathon Classic which takes place in Dallas, Texas December 18th and then the Eagles will return in the spring for the Outdoor Track season.
