Embry-Riddle will head to the NAIA Final Site in Pensacola, Florida with their 3-1 win over Westcliff University at Varsity Field on Saturday afternoon.
ERAU controlled the tempo from the opening whistle, outshooting the Warriors 20-5 and earning a 6-5 edge in corner kicks. The Eagles struck first in the 25th minute when Jamie Brandon buried a shot off a feed from Jamie Black to make it 1-0. The lead doubled just before halftime as Tessa Updegraff converted in the 40th minute, assisted by Kaitlyn Roskopf, giving ERAU a 2-0 cushion at the break.
In the second half, Kari Kasun added insurance with a goal in the 65th minute, capping a dominant offensive performance. Westcliff managed to pull one back in the 83rd minute through Stephanie Serrato, but the Eagles' defense held firm the rest of the way.
Goalkeeper Aubrianne Dupre anchored the back line with two saves, while ERAU's attack peppered Westcliff's keeper with nine shots on goal. Brandon, Updegraff, and Kasun each tallied goals, and Black and Roskopf contributed key assists.
