Jacob Ortiz hit a NAIA "B" Qualifying Standard in the 5000m race at the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted at Azusa Pacific on Thursday morning.

Ortiz finished his race in 14:32.89 beating the qualifying time by three seconds.

Dillon Eisner and Ben Smith also ran in the 5000m race.  Eisner finished the race in 15:03.71 and Smith in 15:27.97.

ERAU will race in the Leopard Inivitational at the University of La Verne on Thursday and Friday as well.
