Embry-Riddle won five matches against Eastern Oregon but it was not enough as the Mountaineers took the dual 24-21 on Saturday night in the Eagle Gym.

At 125lbs, Jaren Kimura battled but lost a close 5-3 decision.  Landon Smith got the scoring started for the Eagles at 133lbs winning his match 4-2.  Pedro Mendoza and Axel Esparza both lost by tech fall at 141lbs and 149lbs.  At 157lbs, Parker Buhr lost by fall.  Jayden Luttrell was the only Eagle to win by fall as he pinned his opponent in just 1:00 at 165lbs.  At 174lbs, Daniil Gorshkov earned bonus points fot ERAU, winning by tech fall.  After Tauataina Tuikolongahau took a loss at 184lbs, Trenton Blomquist and Kenneth Copley both won to close out the dual

Embry-Riddle will wrestle again in the Eagle Gym on Friday at 1pm against University of Providence.
