Tauataina Tuikolongahau all won their weight classes at the Firestorm Open on Saturday hosted by Arizona Christian University.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Kimura won his next two matches to win the tournament. His first match he won 11-5 and the second 6-5.

Mendoza won his matches 7-0, 15-0, and 9-1 on his way to the title at 141lbs.

At 149lbs,
Axel Esparza won his first two matches of the day. He won 10-1 and 3-0 before being knocked to the consolation bracket. Â

Parker Buhr dropped his first match of the day but then worked his way to the consolation third round. He won his second match 7-0, his third 22-3, and fourth match 5-0 before dropping his 5th match.Â
Sam Humphrey also wrestled for ERAU at 157lbs. Humphrey won his first match 5-0 before falling in the next two. Â
165lbs
Stadel went 5-0 on the day without giving up a point on his way to the championship winning 17-0, 15-0, 3-0, 7-0, and 3-0.Â
Jacob Briggs finished in second place going 4-1 and only losing to Stadel. Â
174lbs
Tuikolongahau won a 5-0 decision and then there was a medical forfeit that propelled him into the championship. In the championship match, he won 12-6.
Embry-Riddle will head to the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships next in Salem, Oregon on February 20th and 21st.
