Embry-Riddle dropped the series finale on the road Saturday but couldn't slow Hope International's early momentum, falling 11–1 at Amerige Park.
The Royals struck for four runs in the first inning and continued to build their lead across all seven frames, finishing with 13 hits. ERAU generated four hits of its own and pushed across its lone run in the third inning.
Jake Lokos led the Eagles at the plate, going 2-for-3 with the team's only RBI. Ty Cramer added a hit and scored the run, while Carter Graham contributed a single as part of the Eagles' offensive effort.
On the mound, Jake Guzy worked 3.2 innings and recorded three strikeouts. Spencer Rego added four strikeouts in two innings of relief, and Lukas Barrett finished the game in the seventh. The Eagles' staff combined for eight strikeouts on the afternoon.
Hope International's lineup delivered several multi-hit performances, including a three-run homer from Colby Moran and a three-hit, three-RBI outing from Spencer Davis.
Embry-Riddle will host Nelson University on April 7th with first pitch scheduled for 3pm.
