Embry-Riddle scored 49 runs on their way to a 26-0 win over Mount Mary in game one of the double header and a 23-5 win in the second game on Wednesday evening at Eagle Softball Field.
Game 1
The Eagles' offense erupted for 25 hits, scoring nine runs in each of the first two innings to seize control immediately and never look back.
The tone was set from the very first pitch. Ryan DaCosta tripled to left field sparking a first-inning avalanche that saw the Eagles send 14 batters to the plate. Katie Jamieson followed with an RBI triple of her own, and the lineup kept rolling with RBI knocks from Leah Salas, Kealey Myhre, Jill Bock, and Danica Quinn. By the end of the opening frame, Embry-Riddle led 9–0 and had already tallied 10 hits.
The second inning was nearly a mirror image. After a pitching change by Mount Mary, the Eagles continued to pour it on. Arianna Garcia's RBI triple ignited another nine-run outburst. Jamieson added a two-run double, Myhre singled in another, and Bock delivered the biggest swing of the day: a three-run home run to left to cap the inning and push the lead to 18–0.

Emily Jones closed the fifth, giving up two harmless singles to preserve the shutout.
Game 2

Kealey Myhre followed with a triple, and the Eagles kept rolling. Tori Tlilayatzi delivered a two-run single and Anise Romo added a sacrifice fly to make it 5–0 after one.
Embry-Riddle's offense erupted again in the second inning, highlighted by another Salas home run—this time a towering shot to left center. The inning also featured a two-run double from Romo and a three-run homer from Danica Quinn.
