Embry-Riddle Softball delivered a full day of grit, power, and late-inning fight on Friday in Surprise, earning a
9–0 run-rule victory in Game 1 before pushing OUAZ to the final swing in a wild
12–9 extra-inning finish in Game 2.
GAME 1 — Embry-Riddle 9, OUAZ 0 (5 inn.)
Streeter fires a two-hit shutout; Myhre and Sanchez go deep as Eagles dominate opener
The Eagles opened the day with a statement, overwhelming OUAZ on both sides of the ball and cruising to a run-rule win behind Claire Streeter's two-hit shutout.
Streeter was untouchable from the first pitch, facing the minimum through two innings and finishing with 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 K. She needed just 68 pitches to secure her 13th win of the season.
ERAU's offense backed her immediately. In the first, Jade Bayless ripped a two-run double to right to put the Eagles on the board.

Game 2 turned into a heavyweight fight—momentum swings, big innings, clutch hits, and a dramatic finish.

The game's turning point came in the sixth, when OUAZ erupted for six runs, including a three-run homer from Brianna Humphries. ERAU trailed 8–4 entering the seventh—but the Eagles refused to fold.
