Dillon Eisner finished in 12th in the 5000m race and Ben Smith narrowly missed the finals in the 3000m steeplechase at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Asheville, North Carolina this week.  

After not getting to race the first day due to lightning, Smith ran on Thursday in the 3000m Steeplechase.  He finished 15th which put him just outside of making the finals in the event.  

Eisner ran on Friday in the 5000m race and came in 12th with a time of 15:00.24.

Nationals marks the end of the track season and the two will now prepare for the cross country season which will begin in August.
