Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The ERAU women's basketball team fought hard despite having a chunk of its roster unavailable Friday night, and dropped an 88-73 decision on its home floor. Four different Eagles played at least 30 minutes, and Ella Schott played every second of the game.
Shott led the way in most of the other statistical categories as well, scoring 23 points and grabbing nine rebounds. She was 9-13 from the floor, and was also 3-5 from behind the arc.
It was an efficient shooting night for Grace Meshanko, scoring 15 points off 4-5 shooting. She also made six of her seven free throw attempts, the most attempts from the line in the game from either team.
Turnovers were the story of the night, especially as the game went on. ERAU finished the game with 24 turnovers, and had 17 alone in the first half.
The Eagles will get back on the court next Tuesday, when they host Northern New Mexico College. Tip-off from the ERAU Activity Center is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
