PHOENIX, ARIZ. – Less than 24 hours a Thanksgiving meal, the ERAU women's basketball team ate on the offensive end in a 103-94 win over Lincoln (Calif.) University. Five different Eagles finished in double-digit scoring in the first game of the Buccaneer Classic in Phoenix.

Meghan Strickler led the way with 19 points, making eight of her 12 shot attempts in 23 minutes. Strickler also grabbed six rebounds (three on each end) and had four steals.

Susie Reynoso and Aryana Gonzales each scored 17 points, with Gonzales's coming in just 18 minutes. Gonzales was efficient from the floor as well, going eight for 11 on the morning while adding five steals.

Reynoso scored, but flashed her playmaking abilities throughout the contest. Reynoso finished with a game-high six assists and had a pair of steals.

Zakiirah King shot 60% from the field for her 16 points, and battled inside all game long. King grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and blocked a shot on the defensive end.

The Eagles shared the ball well, dishing out 24 assists to the Oaklanders' 16. ERAU took better care of the ball as well, turning the ball over five less times than Lincoln.

Embry-Riddle will wrap up the Buccaneer Classic with another early tipoff, this time against Southwestern Christian on Saturday. Tipoff from the PHHacility in Phoenix is set for 10 a.m.
