FLAGSTAFF, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle men's basketball team ran into another hot shooting start from an opponent, as Northern Arizona hit its first seven shots to start the game. The Eagles weathered the storm and kept the score at 24-14 with 13:02 to play in the first, but the Lumberjacks closed the half with a 22-4 run and pulled away in the exhibition matchup.

Conner Verdugo led the way in the scoring column again, scoring 17 points to go along with four assists. Conner Verdugo was rewarded for his drives, getting to the free throw line for seven attempts, making six.

David Teibo had an efficient night from the floor, making four of his six shots and adding a free throw for nine points. Teibo also led the team with six rebounds and had a steal as well.

The Eagles took care of the ball on Wednesday, committing just 11 turnovers while facing stiff competition. ERAU also had five steals and grabbed 28 rebounds as a group.

Embry-Riddle will start conference play on Saturday, as they travel to the Valley to face Park-Gilbert. Tipoff from The PHHacility in Phoenix is set for 8:30 p.m.
