Reynoso's 37 Highlights Double OT Win

LANCASTER, CALIF. – It took two extra periods, but the Embry-Riddle basketball team got its Cal Pac record back to .500 with a 98-93 double OT win over Antelope Valley on Saturday. The win pulled the Eagles within a half-game of the Arizona division lead.

Susie Reynoso had a long but productive night, scoring 37 points in 49 minutes and shooting 62.5% on the night. Reynoso was had her fingerprints all over the game, grabbing six offensive rebounds, posting six steals and dishing out three assists.

Reynoso spread out her scoring all night, but her best quarter was the first where she poured in ten points while missing just two field goals. The junior also scored seven of her team's 12 points in the second overtime period, pushing her team to the five-point victory.

Zakiirah King had another fantastic performance off the bench, scoring 18 points and pulling in eight rebounds on Saturday. King was the key player for ERAU in the fourth quarter, scoring nine points and dishing out an assist during the furious finish of regulation.

Three starters finished in double-digit scoring totals, as Aryana Gonzales scored 14 and Ella Schott put in 12. Mehgan Strickler had seven rebounds on the night as well, and the Eagles pulled down 42 as a team.

ERAU will get back on the court tomorrow when they face off with La Sierra on Sunday night. Tipoff from Riverside, Calif. is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. AZ Time.
