Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle men's basketball team put together an excellent effort on Friday night, but a three-point barrage by Saint Katherine led to an 88-71 Eagles loss. The Firebirds shot 52.9% from behind the arc, making 18 of its 34 three-point attempts.
The Eagles had a solid night offensively, scoring 71 points an shooting 43.5% from three. ERAU also move the ball wall, getting 19 assists on its 28 made field goals.
Jake Klingler had yet another brilliant scoring night, posting 24 points on 57.1% shooting. Klingler was hitting from deep, making six of his 11 three-point shots, and also had five rebounds.
Dennis Pomazanov had another double-double, scoring 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Pomazanov also tied for a game-high five assists on Friday, and had a block on the defensive end.
Christmas Togiai, Jr. also tied for a game-high five assists, and also added six points. Trevor Weir was the third Eagle to enter double-digit scoring, posting ten points to go with four rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Embry-Riddle will look to get back to .500 in Cal Pac play on Sunday when they host Westcliff. Tipoff from the ERAU Activity Center is scheduled for 4 p.m.
