PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle basketball team put together its most complete effort on the season, taking home an 86-33 victory over Pacific Union on Friday night. The 53-point difference is the largest margin of victory by the Eagles this season.

After allowing just 13 points in the first quarter, ERAU stepped up its defensive intensity even more. The Eagles allowed just 20 points over the final three quarters, and held the Pioneers to a 21.1% field goal percentage.

Pacific Union did not make more than three shots in second, third, or fourth quarters, and the Pioneers had just four filed goal makes in the second half. The Eagles also allowed just one three-point make in the final 30 minutes of gameplay, and held PUC to 3-12 from behind the arc.

Liz Behan had a great day coming off the bench, scoring 11 points to go along with nine rebounds. Behan also knocked down a three-point attempt, and had two blocks plus a steal;

Grace Meshanko led all scorers with 12 points, making four of her five shot attempts. Meshanko also knocked down four free throws, and was able to grab three rebounds to go with a pair of steals.

The Eagles did a great job sharing the ball, finishing with 24 assists on 31 made field goals. Nicole Evanson and Hannah Urbano each had five assists, and ten different ERAU players finished Friday with an assist.

Embry Riddle also crashed the rebounds hard, getting 57 to Pacific Union's 41. The Eagles had 22 offensive rebounds, and every player to check into the game for ERAU got at least one rebound.

The Eagles will go for its fifth consecutive Cal Pac victory on Sunday when they host Cal Maritime. Tipoff from the ERAU Activity Center is scheduled for 2 p.m.
