Embry-Riddle women's basketball got off to a slow start shooting as they fell to the #5 Fighting Saints of Carroll College 61-46. 

ERAU struggled in the first half, but picked up the pace in the second and were able to get within ten points to start the fourth quarter with the score at 44-34.  Aryana Gonzales (San Luis Obispo, Calif.) got the Eagles within nine with 8:47 to go in the game at 46-37, but then Embry-Riddle didn't score again until there was only 3:43 left in the game. 

Ella Schott (Cave Creek, Ariz.) led the Eagles with eight points off the bench.  Kate McBride (Atlanta, Ga.) was right behind her with seven points as she finished 2-2 on field goals.  Susie Reynoso (Escondido, Calif.) provided three steals for the Embry-Riddle defense.  Hannah Urbano (Kailua, Hawaii) led the team in rebounds with seven and dished out four assists. 

Embry-Riddle will now head to the East Coast as they will play WVU Tech on Wednesday and Emory and Henry on Friday.
