ANGWIN, CALIF. – The Embry-Riddle women's basketball team followed up a spectacular performance from Thursday with a dominant one on Sunday, defeating Pacific Union 74-23. The Eagles did not allow the Pioneers to score more than seven points in any quarter, and ERAU scored at least 16 points in every quarter.

After holding PUC to just four points in the fourth quarter, the Eagles poured in 25 points of their own in the 10 minutes to take a 41-10 lead into the half. Embry-Riddle would then tack on 32 more points to earn its largest margin of victory this season.

Liz Behan had the game high in both points and rebounds, scoring 16 while pulling in eight boards. Behan also had an assist, and was perfect from the free throw line on Sunday.

Aryana Gonzales continues to shoot the ball well from deep, as she hit four of her five three-point attempts to score 12 points. Gonzales accounted for four of the nine three-point makes for the Eagles, and also had an assist, a rebound and a block.

Embry-Riddle also had 11 steals and forced a total of 19 Pacific Union turnovers. Kate McBride led the game with three steals and Ella Schott was also able to record a pair.

The Eagles will return to Arizona where they will look to clinch a spot in the Cal Pac Tournament. ERAU will start next week at Park-Gilbert on Friday, February 10, with tip-off from Bell Bank Park set for 5:30 p.m.
