Landon Smith, Jonah Chew, Keller Rock, and Daniil Gorshkov all won Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships at their weight class in Redding on Saturday as the Eagles placed 2nd as a team at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships.  

Smith won the 125lb title in overtime by an 8-1 decision.  

At 141lbs, Adam Stanley came in second place as he lost the championship match by decision.  

Chew followed at 149lbs with an 8-5 sudden victory decision at 149lbs.  

At 157lbs, Logan Hancey finished in 7th place.  Hancey won his 7th place match with at 14-2 major decision.  

At 165lbs, Rock won by tech fall 17-2.

Gorshkov won a tight 5-4 match at 174lbs to be crowned champion.

At 197lbs, Trenton Blomquist lost a narrow 5-3 decision to finish in second place.  

At 285lbs, Kenneth Copley came in 3rd place.  After losing his semifinal match, Copley used two first period pins to finish in 3rd and be named to the CCC All-Conference team.  Corbin Hayes finished in 8th place after he lost 3-2 in the third overtime period in his 7th place match.   

Embry-Riddle will wrestle next at the NAIA National Championships which will take place in Witchita, Kansas beginning March 6th.
