Embry-Riddle finished their weekend in Montana 2-0 after the Eagles beat Montana State-Northern 35-9 in Havre on Saturday evening. ERAU won the first seven matches in the dual and the final match of the night in the win.
Landon Smith earned a 4-2 decision for ERAU at 125lbs followed by a tech fall of 17-0 by
Allan Hendricks at 133lbs. At 141lbs,
Adam Stanley earned the Eagles first fall of the night as he won his match in just 1:58.
Christian Lopez won 5-3 for Embry-Riddle at 149lbs.
Logan Hancey followed with an 11-8 sudden victory win over Justin Windauer.
Keller Rock then pinned his opponent in 2:26 to earn his second win of the weekend. At 174lbs,
Daniil Gorshkov won 7-3 to earn three more team points for ERAU. The Eagles forfeited at 184lbs and at 197lbs,
Trenton Blomquist was close but lost by decision.
Kenneth Copley finished the match with a second period pin for Embry-Riddle at 285lbs.
ERAU will be back in action next weekend as the Eagles will head to the Firestorm Open hosted by Arizona Christian on Saturday.
