Embry-Riddle had four wrestlers place at the NAIA National Championships in Wichita as
Logan Hancey (157lbs) finished in 8th,
Keller Rock (165lbs) finished 3rd,
Daniil Gorshkov (174lbs) came in 4th, and
Kenneth Copley (285lbs) finished 3rd.
Hancey lost a close 12-10 7th place match up to finish 8th at 157lbs. Hancey earned his first All-American honors of his career.
At 165lbs, Rock won by major decision with the score 19-5 to finish in 3rd. Rock finishes his Eagle wrestling career with over 100 wins and as a two time All-American with a 2nd place finish in 2024 and a 3rd place finish in 2025.
Gorshkov qualified for the NAIA National Tournament after winning the CCC title and came in as the #9 seed. Gorshkov finished the National Championships with his first All-American honors and the sophomore will look to improve his finish next year.
Copley earned his 2nd All-American honors with his 3rd place finish at 285lbs. Copley won his last match 9-1. Last season Copley finished in 8th place at the 285lb weight class.
ERAU will graduate two national qualifiers in
Jonah Chew, Rock, and
Corbin Hayes but the Eagles will return the other seven National Championship qualifers and look to build off of this seasons success going into next season.
