Nick Logan highlighted the first day of the GSAC Championships for Embry-Riddle as he won the 3000 Steeplechase at Soka University on Thursday afternoon.  

1500m Run
Jacob Ortiz ran a 4:03.32 in the 1500m race which advanced him to the finals.  Ben Smith ran the 1500 in 4:10.82 followed by Maxwell Kilstrom in 4:12.69, and Carlos Soto who finished in 4:14.56.  Ben Kovach finished in 4:16.99 and Austin Lemus in 4:30.96 for the Eagles.  

800m Run
Soto was the only Eagle to run the 800.  He finished in 2:01.18.  

10000m Run
Smith came in 4th place in the 10000 with a time of 31:22.08 followed by Nathan Kutscher.  Kutscher finished in 31:30.67.  Dillon Eisner crossed the finish line in 32:55.45 and Nicolas Urquidez in 33:07.33 for the Eagles.  

Embry-Riddle will finish out the GSAC Championships on Friday at Soka University.
