Embry-Riddle won seven matches on their way to a 23-11 dual win over the Arizona Christian Firestorm on Saturday afternoon at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.
The dual started at the 197lb weight class.
Tauataina Tuikolongahau lost a close match 10-5.
At 285lbs,
Trenton Blomquist wrestled up for the Eagles. Blomquist won by major decision 14-0.
Landon Smith was next at 125lbs and used a last second take down to win his match 5-4 and give ERAU a 7-3 lead in the team score.
At 133lbs,
Jaren Kimura lost his match, but then the Eagles won the next four in a row beginning with
Yoshiya Funakoshi.
Funakoshi won a close 12-11 battle over #8 ranked Michael Trujillo.
At 149lbs,
Christian Lopez won 5-4 followed by a 7-0 win for
Peyton Proper at 157lbs.
Jayden Lutrell won by major decision at 165lbs with the final score at 11-2.
At 174lbs,
Daniil Gorshkov lost a close match 4-3 but
Wyatt Rewerts ended things with a win for the Eagles as he won 7-6 at 184lbs.
Embry-Riddle will head to the NWCA National Duals next weekend in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
