Embry-Riddle won two events at the GSAC Conference Championships hosted by Soka University on their way to a 4th place team finish on Saturday.
3000 Steeplechase
Mia Kemp won the Steeplechase race with a time of 11:18.Â
Fionnula Carew came in 5th with a time of 12:53 followed by
Ariela Lerner in 13:33. Â
10000
Carlee Murphy led ERAU in the 10000 with a time of 38:34. Murphy was followed by
Tiffany Terry in 4th with a time of 39:06.Â
Heidi Donovan was the next Eagle crossing the finish in 39:59 followed by Carew in 42:53 and
Mia Sanchez in 46:18 for ERAU. Â
1500
Sophia Noriega qualified for NAIA Nationals in the 1500 with her time of 4:34. She finished in 2nd overall.Â
Kylie Monson finished in 7th with a time of 5:05 and Carew followed with a time of 5:37. Â
800
Monson and Lerner ran the 800 for the Eagles. Monson finished in 5th with a 2:27 followed by Lerner with a 2:39. Â
5000
ERAU took the top three spots in the 5000 with Noriega leading the way. Noriega ran a time of 17:32. Kemp finished in 2nd with a time of 17:53 and Murphy was 3rd crossing the line in 18:02. Terry finished in 8th with a 19:03.Â
Heidi Donovan ran the race in 19:48 followed by Sanchez in 22:13. Â
The Eagles will have one more meet, the Azusa Last Chance Meet May 7th-9th hosted by Azusa Pacific. Â
