Sophia Noriega finished in 3rd place making her an All-American in the 5000m race and Mia Kemp finished 9th in the 3000m Steeplechase at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina this week.  

Kemp qualified for the finals in the event after finishing 11th in the prelims.  Kemp ran a personal best 11:05 in the finals to finish 9th in the Steeplechase.

Noriega came in 3rd in the 5000 earning her second All-American honors after she earned them for cross country in the fall as well.  She finished the 5000m race in 17:20.49.

Kemp and Noriega will now get ready for their cross country seasons in the Fall.
