Jalin Yoder (Fountain Hills, Ariz.) was named the conference Player of the Year when the league announced its postseason awards for volleyball. Sophomore
Audrey Baldwin (Goleta, Calif.) also earned first team honors for the Eagles, with junior
Lyndsey Weiler (Phoenix, Ariz.) and freshman
Caylee Robalin (El Paso, Texas) and earning second team all-conference accolades. Head coach,
Jill Blasczyk, was named the Cal Pac Coach of the Year.
This is the third consecutive year that Yoder has earned first team all-conference honors for ERAU. From her outside hitter position, she led the team and league in kills with 376, hitting at a .213 clip that was good for sixth in the league. She also ranked among the top-10 in the Cal Pac in aces (33) and digs (379).
In her first season as the starting setter for the Eagles, Baldwin put up some impressive numbers and set up the offense for the squad with 1,119 assists, leading the Cal Pac with an average of 10.7 assists per set. She also proved to be one of the top servers in the conference, finishing third in the league with 43 aces.
Another key cog in the Embry-Riddle offense, Weiler earned her second all-conference honor after being named the Cal Pac Newcomer of the Year in 2016. She totaled 336 kills and hit .256 in the regular season, the third highest percentage in the league. Robalin turned in a strong first season for the Eagles, hitting at a .174 mark and totaling 262 kills. She also ranked among the league leaders in aces (42), blocks (46), and digs (300).
Blasczyk was named the Cal Pac Coach of the Year for a third consecutive season after guiding EARU to the Cal Pac regular season title with a perfect 14-0 conference mark. The Eagles finished the regular season with an overall record of 26-3, setting a new school mark for wins in a season.
