REDDING, Calif. – In their second game on their California road trip, (19) Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Ariz.) (13-6, 4-0) went to Redding and won in convincing fashion beating California Pacific Conference foe Simpson University (3-11, 0-4) in straight sets, 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

In what seems like normal fashion the Eagles worked quickly and the match took just over an hour to complete. It was a solid night for hitters as ERAU attacked at a .216 clip compared to the Redhawks .048. Veronica Norkus (JR/Prescott, Ariz.) led the team in kills (11) and hitting percentage (.528). While Kat Yung (FR/Phoenix, Ariz.) came up with 20 digs keeping the ball alive for the Eagles. This was a good match for the Eagles where most of the team got to see the court and contribute in some way or the other.

In their final game of the road trip, the Eagles will take on the Pacific Union College Pioneers before they head back to Prescott.
