Box Score PRESCOTT, ARIZ. – The ERAU women's volleyball team will have to play one more match in the 2021 Cal Pac Tournament after losing to Park-Gilbert on Friday afternoon. The Eagles will have one more chance to earn an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The best set of the day for Embry-Riddle was the second set, where they won by 15 point and did not commit an attacking error. The Eagles finished the frame with 14 kills and a .500 hitting percentage, seemingly turning the momentum in its favor.
ERAU was unable to capitalize in the next set, losing the third 25-23 in a hard fought battle. The Buccaneers closed out the match in the fourth, winning 25-18.
Caylee Robalin led the way again in kills, finishing the day with 16. Erin Clark had ten kills and was second on the team in digs with 14.
Kat Yung led the match in digs, earning 17 during a match that featured plenty of long rallies. Lily Figgins was also able to manage 12 digs, giving the Eagles three players with double-digit dig totals.
Sharik Joseph netted seven kills on 21 attacks and just two errors, and managed four block assists as well. Eliza Pauzer helped a lot defensively at the net as well, getting three block assists of her own.
The Eagles hit the court for the final time this conference tournament Saturday against Saint Katherine. First serve from Eagle Gym is scheduled for 2 p.m.
