Box Score 2 BELLEVUE, NEB. – The Embry-Riddle volleyball team earned a split on its final day of the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic, dropping a match against 15th-ranked Central Methodist before defeating William Woods in the afternoon. After a tough start to the day offensively, the Eagles rolled in the final three sets of its match against William Woods to leave Nebraska with a win streak.

Embry-Riddle had a difficult time attacking, having just 21 kills in its morning match. Adiva Joseph and Dalia Haase had five kills each for ERAU.
Katie Rolle had 16 assists for Embry-Riddle and Lily Figgins had eight digs, both team highs in the match. Central Methodist finished with 33 kills and a .260 kill percentage.
Embry-Riddle 3, William Woods 1
The first set in the Eagles final game of the weekend looked like more of the same from earlier in the day. Embry-Riddle dropped the opening game 25-19, and had a .116 kill percentage, but ERAU turned itself around from that point.
The Eagles won the final three sets of the match, winning all by three points or more. Embry-Riddle was dominant in the final set, winning it 25-15 to pick up its third victory of the season.
Embry-Riddle was efficient with its attack attempts in the second and third sets, posting .367 and .311 kill percentages, respectively. The Eagles also had 15 and 17 kills in those sets, respectively, and finished the match with 58 kills.
ERAU had three players with double-digit kills, with Haase and Emma Barber each having a match-high 14. Joseph had 10, and Juliette van den Herik finished with nine.
Rolle finished with 46 assists, running the ERAU offense effectively as the Eagles began to pull away. Rolle also added seven kills and ten digs in the match victory.
Embry-Riddle will hit the road one more time next weekend, this time to begin its busy conference schedule. The Eagles will play Antelope Valley in the Cal Pac opener for both teams on Friday, September 9, with first serve scheduled for 7 p.m.
