The 18th-ranked Embry-Riddle wrestling team had an excellent season so far, and for seven Eagles, the journey will continue to the NAIA National Championships. Six ERAU wrestlers earned its spot in the national tournament via the Cascade Conference Tournament this past weekend, and one wrestler was nominated as a national at-large.
Landon Smith, Carson Coy, Jonah Chew, Beau Blackham, Keller Rock and Michael Densmore earned its spot at nationals due to their placement in the conference tournament. Sheldon Cole was named a national at-large selection, one of eight to come from the Cascade Conference.
The national tournament will take place in the Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kan. The championships will consist of brackets from ten different weight classes, and will start on Friday, March 3.
