Glendale, Ariz. - Dalia Haase (Tucson, Ariz.) continued her hot start to the 2023 season as she hit at a .706 rate this afternoon against Justice College as Embry-Riddle won the match 3-0.

In the first set, the score was close until ERAU got two kills in a row from Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif.) and another from Hannah Clear (Fort Worth, Texas) to break open the scoring and give the Eagles a 9-4 advantage.  Embry-Riddle never looked back as they went on to win the set 25-12.

The second set, which was the closest, ended with a final score of 25-13 in favor of ERAU.  Katie Rolle (Missoula, Mont.) had two service aces in the set and Alexsandra Rodriguez (Phoenix, Ariz.) added three kills.

Embry-Riddle jumped out to an 11-0 lead to begin the third set as Haase had four kills paired with a few errors from Justice College.  ERAU went on to win the set 25-2 and finish the Firestorm Labor Day Tournament 2-0.

The Eagles will begin Cal Pac play this week and have their first home games of the season as they host Saint Katherine on Thursday at 7pm in the Eagle Gym.
