Demetris Love, Jr. (Phoenix, Ariz.) finished second at the NAIA National Championships and Embry-Riddle finished 9th as a team on Friday morning at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.

Ben Smith (Spokane, Wash.) both earned All-American status for their finishes. Love, Jr. was second with a time of 23:44.2. Smith finished in 34th place as he ran the 8K course in 24:35.1.
The next ERAU finisher was
Nick Logan (Phoenix, Ariz.) who finished in 25:01.6 which put him in 78th place.
Dillon Eisner (Paulden, Ariz.) and
Nathan Kutscher (Huntington Beach, Calif.) finished just one second apart with Eisner finishing in 25:19.9 and Kutscher in 25:20.7. Coming in 6th for the Eagles was
Jacob Ortiz (Chandler, Ariz.). Ortiz finished with a time of 26:06.2. Following Ortiz was
Ben Kovach (Chandler, Ariz.) who ran the course in 27:34.6.
Embry-Riddle will have a little break now before the Eagles resume in the Spring for the Track season.
