Box Score Twenty-two different players saw the field for the Embry-Riddle Men's soccer team in their match against California State University Maritime tonight in Prescott.
In the 20th minute, Alex Frances (Valencia, Spain) scored his 9th goal of the season to put ERAU up 1-0. In the 37th minute CSUM was able equalize on a counterattack and tie the score at 1-1. Just three minutes later, Frances struck again to make the score 2-1 as Aviad Golan (Tel Aviv, Israel) picked up his first of three assists on the night. Last week's Cal Pac Defender of the Week, Roei Nir (Tel Aviv, Israel) headed in a corner kick in the 43rd minute as Embry-Riddle headed into halftime up 3-1.
In almost the same scenario as the third Eagle goal, Nir headed in another corner kick by Golan. Cal Maritime scored another with two seconds left on the clock to make the score 4-2.
ERAU moves to 4-1 in conference with their win tonight. Embry-Riddle plays again next on Sunday as they take on UC Merced at 3:30pm on Varsity Field.
