Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

TUCSON, ARIZ. – The Embry-Riddle softball team continued momentum on Tuesday, improving to a perfect 6-0 with a pair of wins over Tabor College. The Eagles used another pair of balanced performances to stay unbeaten, and outscored the Blue Jays 12-4 on the day.

Game 1: Embry-Riddle 5, Tabor 1

Mikaeli Davidson put together another great performance in the circle, going four innings and giving up one run. Davidson also struck out five in the process, did not walk a batter, and only gave up the two hits in the fourth inning.

Davidson contributed at the plate as well, going 2-3 with a pair of RBI. She had the RBI triple that started the game's scoring in the fourth inning, and then drove in Rachel Hammons with a single in the sixth.

Game 2: Embry-Riddle 7, Tabor 3

The Eagles got the offense going right away, as after a pair of hits and stolen bases, Davison drove home Diana Miranda Montano for the game's first run. Davidson collected a second hit in the third inning to set up a 2-RBI double for Sam Holbert.

Rachel Hammons reached base every time she stepped to the plate, going 4-4 with two RBI and scoring a pair of runs as well. Hammons put on the final two much-needed insurance runs for the Eagles, getting RBI singles in the fourth and sixth innings.

Maddie Judge had a RBI triple to swing the momentum back toward ERAU in the fourth, and eventually came around to score. As a team, the Eagles had 13 hits, and Miranda Montano, Davidson and Hammons all recorded multi-hit games.

In the circle, Vanessa Brink picked up her third consecutive victorious decision, striking out eight in five innings. Davison came in and picked up the final six outs for her first save of the year.
